Currently carrying out project management support for CMA Development during design of The Blue Rose Resort project in Orlando, Florida. Recently completed assignments include serving Boyd Gaming as project manager on a major expansion to its Delta Downs Racetrack and Casino property outside of Vinton, Louisiana. Additionally, represented the City of Sabetha, Kansas as its project manager during the design and construction of their new community hospital and helping Argosy Gaming in a similar capacity overseeing improvements to riverboat casino complexes in both Iowa and Missouri. Another important task completed within the past few years was working for Security Benefit Group of Companies managing development of their new headquarters in Topeka, Kansas. This latter undertaking proved both extremely challenging and rewarding as the CG&a-led Project Team successfully produced a stunning 325,000 SF state-of-the-art complex incorporating cutting edge technologies to provide a high level of future flexibility as the business of this financial services company continues to evolve. Previously served Argosy Gaming as its Owner’s Representative during execution of their $225 million Lawrenceburg, Indiana riverboat casino and shore-side entertainment pavilion. Among other contracts handled has been managing the design and construction of office, warehouse, land and retail development projects in various Texas locations for a partnership hat included Minnesota Vikings’ Owner Mr. Red McCombs. In addition, work prior to these aforementioned projects included program management support for Hearst Corporation's $88 million expansion to The San Antonio Express-News newspaper publishing facility.
For Citicorp Real Estate CG&a served as cost control consultant on $85 million 30-story NBC Bank Plaza highrise in downtown San Antonio. For same client also planned and monitored execution of a major physical improvement program to assets valued at $200 million in and around New Orleans.
Worked closely with representatives of a large national real estate development organization in preparing a detailed cost analysis studying redevelopment of an existing Las Vegas resort into a 5,000 room convention facility with an adjacent galleria-type retail complex.
Early in CG&a’s history completed construction management support for a 1,000 room addition to the Riviera Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. This 24-floor tower was completed ten months after ground breaking, with the lower 350 rooms utilized by guests eight months after the start of foundation work. Not only was the implementing and running of schedule and cost controls among responsibilities performed, calculations were produced for the Hotel proving how an investment of $200,000 to accelerate certain subcontractors would produce an early cash flow of $400,000 by having early access to said rooms.
Among other past assignments, CG&a served as Scheduling Consultant during construction of:

- Vacaville, California prison
- Bank of San Francisco headquarters
- Renovation to historic De Anza Hotel, San Jose
- The Crescent, an upscale retail development in Austin
- The Pavilions North, San Antonio
- I-10 "Y" expansion, San Antonio
Work performed through association with HSA Architects-Las Vegas has included the writing and reviewing of contract documents for a $20 million financial institution headquarters and the administration of two contracts with Bechtel/National Park Foundation for park improvement projects in Arizona and Texas.
Morrison-Knudsen Company, Boise
Initially assigned as Lead Scheduling Engineer on $125 million Nevada power station, and developed 6000 activity schedule integrating design, procurement and construction responsibilities of the Owner, Construction Manager and the M-K sponsored construction team.. Promoted to Contract Administrator on same project, responsible for representing Joint Venture in the research, communication and negotiation of all contractual problems. Established document control procedures for the monitoring and identification of contract changes. Coordinated preparation of bid package documents for specialty subcontracts. Made determination of successful bidder, wrote, and administered subcontracts.
Promoted, again, to Project Engineer on San Francisco highrise. Coordinated design/build system subcontracts to support project schedule. Established document control procedures, set up, then supervised the project scheduling, cost control and billing functions. Wrote/administered subcontracts, initiated all correspondence leaving Project Office.
CHRISTOPHER L. GARTNER & associates, Las Vegas
Performed construction feasibility studies and preplanning of proposed regional mall developments in Texas and Arizona and housing projects in Virginia and Arizona.
Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Wichita
Performed various Field Engineering and site office support functions on series of projects which included a major junior college complex, a cast-in-place concrete sewer conduit, a farm implement manufacturing company's corporate headquarters, and three large power generating stations. Assumed major project management roles on latter two coal-fired power plants. Responsibilities included the estimation and negotiation of contract changes, material procurement, supervision of craft finish work, and the writing of subcontract amendments.
An additional assignment while with the Eby Company, was as an Estimator working out of area offices in Omaha and Houston. As such, participated in the bidding and project preplanning of power station, hospital, public works, and marine projects.
